G’day Traders,

It a beautiful morning on the coast and I feel great despite the dinner meeting I held last night that turned into a poker game.

One, very interesting thing that startled me this morning was to see the Euro move higher, and hold above 1.30 – well it is actually above the 1.3050 s/r area. This just goes to show how short a memory the market has and how all European problems now seem to be forgotten. Those stress tests worked a treat

One other important thing, besides the course for all of you Forex / Commodities traders who want to learn the platform better (Real Time) or the advanced, is that we are working really hard on the website. Many of the questions we get asked all the time are in the courses. If you don’t know how to use the website just ask someone. There is so much in there to help you become successful and I am working on some stuff that, whilst not an exciting topic, should make a huge difference to how you increase your returns and decrease your risk.

The US S&P500 -0.42 European top 500 -0.38 and UK -0.11%, The Nikkei, China and Australia are all down in early trade.

ETFs – 10 minutes ago I finished my book on ETFs for the Australian Investor – I hope the publisher likes it. No comments today – the markets are doing what is expected.

Options – I may have a look later today, if I have time, for some ICS. I have enough BECS and need to get more BUPS but I want to wait to see if the market moves down closer to 1080 on the ES. I usually look to have most of my options positions by around the start of the month so I may see if it falls tonight on the open and put some on. Most traders would wait until Monday.

Information for Beginners – Have a look over the weekend at your trades for the past couple of weeks – whether paper trading or live. Are you following your strategy? Are you diversified enough?

Information for Intermediate – I am not sure if the Advanced is sold out but have a look at Real Time. Yes, it is targeted at day trading, but I like to think of it as a mini advanced specifically for Forex and Commodities focused on the technicals of trading and how to use support / resistance to improve your stops.

Information for Advanced – It may be a good time to have a break this weekend – refresh and get away from trading. That is of course only if you usually review your trading on the weekend. If you don’t, then make a start tomorrow. Even if it’s just assessing trades you missed and why.
