Who is Aussie Rob?

While life in a rural settlement had its advantages, such as a strong sense of community and self-reliance, it also had its disadvantages, such as a lack of resources and academic guidance. Therefore, when Rob set out to establish his career goals while still in high school — consisting of only 200 students — he was informed that he should remain in school until he was old enough to apply for a mechanical or carpentry apprenticeship, at the time was fifteen years of age.

Soon after, a young, and eager Rob began a Diesel Mechanic Apprenticeship, and then turned his interest to the Army, which quickly saw him develop the strong leadership and self-discipline qualities that have become some of his most notable attributes.

After four years in the Army, Rob learned that no matter how hard you worked, your earning potential was capped, and that it was extremely difficult to receive recognition for your hard work, in fact, Rob often discovered that his superior officers stole all the glory. In Rob’s words, this kind of work was nothing more than a “JOB – Just Over Broke.”

Determined to make a difference and realise his full potential, Rob created new paths which lead him to over twenty years of entrepreneurship, where he often found that as one door opened, another was closed. In fact, Rob’s climb to the top included becoming the president of a private international bank, and this is where Rob had his first encounters with disappointment. The bank he worked for offered fund management to its clients, but unfortunately the fund managers outsourced by the bank were losing clients money, like so many institutions have done, and are still doing to this day. Rob found this loss of control very frustrating, especially when it affected his reputation, so he took his search for salvation upon his own merits and sought to learn how to trade himself.

Starting from the ground up, Rob began his quest to obtain trading knowledge by purchasing an audio tape about trading. As he listened to that audio tape, Rob began to realise how powerful trading truly was. Today, Rob is still devoted to learning and focuses his attention on self-education about the industry — by attending trading courses, listening to CDs and watching DVDs and reading as much literature as he can get his hands on. Over the years, after many training sessions, Rob has also concluded that there must be an easier way to learn how to trade for the average person, as he discovered that many of his fellow students seemed to become more confused, the more they learned.

Having a strong sense of community and wanting to make a difference so that others could understand the power of trading as he had, Rob became an extremely active member of a financial message board where he enjoyed helping others find answers to their questions. In fact, it wasn’t long before Rob became a mentor to many of his fellow traders.

This mentorship led Rob to develop his own home-study course, so that he could not only educate ‘mum and dad’ investors how to trade, but also empower them to take control of their own funds and financial future. This to Rob was the ultimate way of regaining the reputation that working for the bank had stolen.

Rob’s training course was to be called ‘Options Simplicity’, but before Rob could complete the course, a well established software company recognised Rob’s following on the financial message board, along with his teaching abilities, and approached him with a strategic partnership that would see Rob’s idea to fruition. Rob was even more excited about the opportunity to complete his new training course, and the software, which he would now name ‘Options Made Easy’, because Rob found himself with more time to do what he enjoyed the most — sharing his knowledge and helping others understand that learning how to trade can be EASY.

Like any self-driven individual, Rob has always sought to go that extra mile, in everything that he has done, because he wants others to shed their financial restrictions and find an easier way of life, and this is yet another reason why he developed ‘Options Made Easy’. In addition to this, and with the backing of his strategic partner and their very talented software developers, Rob has also completed his goal of creating an options picker, called ‘Option Hunter’, which helps his students screen for high yielding options.

Since Rob’s successful achievement of creating educational software on options in the stock market, he has turned his focus to the wonderful world of commodities trading in the futures market. Rob has continued his EASY style of education by explaining complicated scenarios right throughout his new commodities training course. Furthermore, Rob has developed a new software product called “Trend Genie”, which has several algorithms that quickly identifies the trend of individual commodities.
Since 2000, Rob has developed several programs, but none have captured the market more so than ‘Lifestyle Trader’, launched in early 2006, which encompassed all of his previous programs and trading concepts and rolled them into one powerful trading program.
Rob returned to Australia in 2006, to educate his fellow Australians to potentially become successful traders. He has since set up his head office in Surfers Paradise, Queensland, and appointed licensees throughout Australia to offer ongoing support through Aussie Rob’s Traders’ Clubs and to promote Lifestyle Trader.
Rob and his TEAM of licensees have since demonstrated to thousands of Australians how simple and easy trading can be. Rob has also established an in-house brokerage firm called ‘Lifestyle Investor Services’, which offers his clients a ‘trade-all’ trading platform at very competitive prices. Rob also holds in-house, hands-on computer lab training for ‘Lifestyle Trader’ at his brand new facility, so that his clients fully understand how easy trading can be.
After hearing Rob’s life story, I have deducted that his success is derived not from luck, but from him having an ability to visualise and seize opportunities, to continually push himself outside of his comfort zone, and above all, educate himself.

As Rob would say, “Everything’s EASY when you know how”.
